Brown & Brown is seeking a Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager in Tacoma, Washington!
This is a hybrid role that offers a flexible 3 in office days and 2 work from home days schedule!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Service and maintain a book of business
- Provide direct customer service support for employee benefits customers
- Prepare for and attend various presentations, enrollment meetings, or other scheduled customer‐facing engagements
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of communications and insurance documents as required
- Work closely with Producers and Marketing to achieve agreed upon goals for new and renewal business marketing
- Develop and foster quality relationships with customers and teammates
- Review, analyze and resolve plan and coverage‐related concerns for customers
- Consistently meet all Brown & Brown established quality control procedures and timelines
- Compile and create proposals, carrier spreadsheets, enrollment packets, and additional documents as requested
- Actively participate in social, civic, and trade organizations to represent Brown & Brown’s community/customer commitment
- Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & Brown
- Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures
- Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills
- Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality
- Other duties as needed
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Some college a plus, not required
- 3+ years’ experience in the insurance industry with a strong emphasis in employee benefits and/or human resources preferred but not required
- Life & Health insurance license (if not already held, obtain within 30 days of hire)
- CEBS or RHU designation preferred but not required.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
