Responsibilities

CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson MRI Technologists performs a variety of specialized technical tasks associated with the operation of MRI scanners and related equipment to assist the radiologist in the detection of anatomical abnormalities. The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist is responsible for daily operations of the MRI section, patient schedule, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). The MRI technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. This position supports the mission, vision and philosophy of CHI and St. Alexius Health-Dickinson Medical Center.

Qualifications

Minimium Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accredited School of Radiology.

  • Associate Degree (2 year program) or equivalent.

  • Must be ARRT registered in Radiology.

  • Must obtain MRI registry within 18 months of hire.

  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire

  • Must hold North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years MRI experience preferred.

  • Knowledgeable in basic computer skills, PACs, and Meditech.
