CommonSpirit Health is committed to creating healthier communities, delivering exceptional patient care, and ensuring every person has access to quality health care.Responsibilities:** This position is at GREAT PLAINS REHAB SERVICES**The customer service representative is responsible for: patient demographic and insurance information intake, pulling items from stock to fill orders, assisting customers with loading large orders, answering the phone, and maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor when dealing with customers.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner while determining their needsTriage scheduled customers to the appropriate staff memberIntake of demographic and insurance information for new customers and updates changes within established customer accounts Keys general retail sales orders; rental return orders; and resupply orders Pull appropriate items to fill resupply ordersDispense resupply orders and secure signature for proof of dispense and assignment of benefitsAssist customers in locating items on the sales floorConsistently responds in a prompt manner to all requestsConsistently shows willingness to assist customersMust be able to re-direct questions to appropriate staff if unable to help.Uses professional skills when handling calls and inquires by customers and coworkersResponsible for closing procedures; assures doors are looked and monies are safely stored in the safe during non-business hours. Qualifications:Education: High school diploma preferred not requiredLicense: None requiredExperience: Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to work within an internet based computer program, likes a demanding fast paced work environment with numerous interruptions; must be able to maintain a profession courteous demeanor both in person and via telephone under stressful situations; is adaptable to varying work flow and work duties.  Interpersonal Skills: Must demonstrate initiative and good judgment; promotes positive working relationships among co-workers through expressions of appreciation to others for the work they do; works in harmony and with a spirit of cooperation;  disciplined to actively listen to customer’s needs and takes responsibility to address those needs.  Thrives in a fast paced work environmentPhysical Effort:Medium – Lifting 25 pounds frequently up to 50 pound infrequently  Hours of Work: GPRS retail store hoursExemption Status: Non-ExemptOther:      Willing to work in the following environments:  Able to respond in a hospital or departmental related emergency; potential exposure to mechanical, chemical, electrical, and infectious environmental hazards; and able to respond and perform effectively if an unforeseen immediate job-related need arises.
