JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Neurology Nurse in this progressive care unit, you’ll have a diverse patient population with a range of care needs to build your nursing foundation or enhance your existing one. Our patient population consists of neurology, neurosurgery, gynecologic surgery, ENT, adult cystic fibrosis and other medical patients. Our 3-bed neuro step-down unit offers a unique opportunity to care for our more complex patients.

EDUCATION:
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required. The University of Vermont Medical Center is moving toward an all Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) workforce. All external candidates hired into, or current employees promoted to, a RN position will be required to obtain their BSN as outlined in the terms of their offer letter.

Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
