The Sales Assistant performs tasks that increase and maintain customer growth and revenue such as sales activities, signing customers up on auto‐pay, some aspects of account management and by providing total customer satisfaction.

The role helps manage profit by following established policies and procedures.

This position will have daily interactions with host retail employees to ensure receipt of all credit turn‐downs, will review and convert web orders, and will close walk‐in customers.

The Sales Associate accomplishes these in a way that is consistent with the RAC mission statement and core values.

The PREFERRED LEASE SALES ASSOCIATE will: Responsibilities  Responsible for Customer and Revenue growth/maintenance  Demonstrate attentiveness by identifying and fulfilling all customer needs in a timely manner through premier customer service  Close sales cycle by converting applications, including in‐store customers and web orders, to lease‐to‐own agreements  Educate prospects on price options, features, and/or benefits of lease agreement  Assist customers through the application process and ensure all steps are completed to ensure customer receives merchandise and partnership store receives payment  Prospect for new business by telemarketing  Work as a cooperative member of the partnership store team and PREFERRED LEASE team in all operational aspects  Network and partner with host retail personnel to gain referrals and educate partnership store staff on the lease process  Maintain accurate records of customer account activity, to include current and past due accounts  Follow all policies and procedures and adhere to all standards  Other duties as assigned Qualifications  Must be at least 19 years of age  High school diploma or GED  Valid state driver’s license and good driving record  Retail sales or customer service experience is a plus Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.00
